An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Programme Management Office for a PMO Transformation Programme Lead.  Experience in programme management is a must as you will be required to work alongside all levels of the organisation on key programmes.

Essential criteria
  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience
  • Project or Programme Management Qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. PRINCE2)
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of further personal development in leadership and change management

Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working within a Programme Management Office (PMO) at a Senior level
  • Experience of managing projects / programmes
  • Experience in writing reports and business cases
  • Previous experience of line management
  • Specialist knowledge of project/ programme/ change management in the NHS
  • Strong motivational, influencing and negotiating skills
Desirable criteria
  • Experience within the NHS
  • Knowledge of service improvement tools and techniques
  • Expert use of Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to work effectively with peers
  • Able to effectively manage competing priorities
