Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Call Centre/Administrative Support  Assistant to be based within the Outpatient Directorate at our Stoke site. The role is a 12 month fixed term post/ secondment opportunity to be reviewed after 9 months This is a varied role involving supporting with any incoming calls to the Appointments Call Centre and booking outpatient appointments for patients in accordance with NHS national targets. ,  Team building skills are imperative, as is the need to be self motivated with the ability to use your own initiative as and when necessary. This job also includes  booking patient transport within the criteria. 

Main duties of the job

Taking call centre calls , this includes  patient queries , checking appointments and if required altering appointments , referrals from GPS, responding to letters to book further follow up appointments
